What the 12-Week Venture Execution Curriculum is

A live venture-execution curriculum the NELL team teaches with a university cohort over one term. It is education and training — students execute the Student Playbook and then the Pro Builder playbook hands-on against real buyers — not a recorded course with a login. One idea per team, and every week produces a named deliverable.

• Weeks 1–6, Lock & Build — Idea Lock, then ICP validation and wedge proof through five or more real buyer conversations, then a build spec, a chosen GTM motion, a working prototype, pipeline math and first outreach. Week 6 is a graded live build review.
• Weeks 7–12, Execute & Prove — a proof pack of value delivered, objection drills and a competitive battlecard, a compliance map and the mechanics of a proposal or LOI they write and send, a week with no new features that goes entirely to pipeline follow-through, then pitch build.
• Week 12 is Demo Day, a public assessed Execution Review: the idea, the ICP, the product they built, what the pipeline actually did, what the buyers who said no taught them, and a data-backed 90-day plan.
• The ICP and wedge locked in Week 2 do not change. Build scope can flex; the target buyer does not.
• No revenue or closed-deal guarantee. NELL does not commit to commercial outcomes on a student’s behalf, and no assessment depends on one — grading is on execution discipline, so a signed pilot, a well-evidenced “almost” and a rigorously documented dead end are all A-range results.
• What NELL does commit to after the term: GTM Operations support at a discounted student rate for teams that want to keep going.

What it costs

It is priced per cohort, because the number depends on how many students there are and how the term runs. University staff and student leaders ask through a short form; there is no card and no commitment to enquire.
